Supporters of less fashionable teams often complain that referees never miss their team's fouls, especially when they're up against a 'big' club.
On the evidence of yesterday at the Britannia, they have a case.
Wayne Rooney, in retaliation to the close attentions of Abdoulaye Faye, appeared to throw an arm to keep his opponent at bay and was not punished.
Then, Cristiano Ronaldo seemed to retaliate to a challenge and, again, escaped the attentions of the officials.
Referees, when questioned, just say that they did not see such situations.
It was unfortunate for Stoke that Chris Foy was not unsighted for either of Andy Wilkinson's challenges - and rightly dismissed the Stoke man.
Come on Mr Poll, your referees make shocking decisions week in and week out, surely you can't blame Manchester United for that!!
At least Mr Poll is consistent and he speaks bullshit through his arse on a regular basis !!!.....
