The Mail on Sunday are reporting that AC Milan are joining Real Madrid in their interest for Manchester United defender Jonny Evans. That doesn't impress me much at all. When all seemed lost with injuries to Rio, Neville and Wes, Jonny Evans stepped in and did a sterling job, he was immense for us when needed. I'm sure he will get many chances to play first team football for United so I do hope he decides to stick around.Real Madrid see him as a possible successor to Fabio Cannavaro. They spent last summer in pursuit of Cristiano Ronaldo, and have also been linked recently with United marksman Carlos Tevez......then again, having said that, Real Madrid keep on linking themselves to EVERY player at United, such a show of public jealousy of what we have must be embarassing for them but such is life.....Back To Home Page...
